Frequently asked questions
At what age should clubfoot treatment begin?
Ideally within the first 1–2 weeks of life. The Ponseti method works best on soft, newborn tissues, but excellent results are still possible in older infants and children.
My toddler walks with feet turned in. Is that normal?
In-toeing is very common and usually resolves on its own by age 8–10. A quick assessment tells us whether it needs monitoring or treatment.
Do children's fractures need surgery?
Most do not. Children's bones heal fast and remodel well, so many fractures are treated with a cast. Surgery is reserved for displaced or growth-plate-involving injuries.
Will my child be scared during the visit?
Our consultations are child-paced. We explain in simple words, let children handle the tools, and never rush an anxious child.
